Cant seen them turning you away mate, i had a simillar problem with my old C2 GT, they were supposed to powder coat a wheel and never, took it back and they said no problem!

It is more than likley to be the wires under the seat. Have they been soldered together? Id snip them and get a choc bloke or conector and re wire them together. mines was on for ages. 2 minute fix tbh!

There are no shortcuts with insurance companies imo. Nothing gets it down like experience and caution with regard to road safety. To be quite honest even when you do get to that magical "25" your still getting screwed wether its 4000 or 400. its a f**king joke from the start
