Agree on the above - I have one of those Moto-CNC map sensor brackets, as well as running a RSTuner 98ron map and don't really have much issue with kangarooing in my 200.
Hi @RS200SGP - if you can find Hutchinson mounts they are apparently the OEM manufacturer for the genuine Renault ones. You can usually even see on the upper engine mount where they have ground the Renault part numbers off :D
I am currently running them on all mounts apart from the upper...
I have designed some 3d printed replacement sunvisor mount covers for the commonly broken ones on the Clio 3
Main body of the cover clips onto the mount and the small infill panel then clips onto the cover, which allows the cover to be removable should it be required.
These are 3d...
I haven't seen it myself but I believe it is around there yes. So not the easiest to get too lol.
Re: the ECU - I would disconnect the battery first before playing with the connector :)
I believe - maybe someone more knowledgeable can confirm - there is another white connector (similar to the one in the engine bay fuse box) located in the area under the scuttle panels/below the wiper mechanism. The wiring from the throttle pedal etc is supposed to run through this. If I am...
I did see those type of leds when I was looking for ones that would fit, but I didn't go with them for a couple of reasons. Firstly, at 9mm diameter I wasn't sure they would fit - especially with the metal cap being that large. There is a chance you could create a short on the metallised film...
@frayz no worries! I posted this on OzRS a while ago but will repost here incase people can't view it. Will hopefully help those who are after either both standard and led specs 🙂
The standard bulbs are 12V 3W festoon bulbs but much narrower than the usual festoon bulb at only 6mm diameter...
@rs 1an - they look like the same colour as the 172 lights? Assuming they were they plug and play?
If you don't mind me asking - what are the part numbers for them?
Just wondering if anyone can confirm whether the 172 Xenon headlights are still available from Renault? I believe the part numbers are 7701051794 (drivers side) and 7701051793 (passenger side).
Cheers
I have had them a bit longer than I have known my wife. They are as good as they were when I first got them.
If only my wife was like my Mitutoyo :ROFLMAO:
I have some Mitutoyo 6" digital verniers that are about 21yrs old and still going strong - have only recently put my 3rd battery in it as well. Definitely one of the best tools I have ever bought (y)
Just to follow up on this I had to file away some of the inlet runner - not a huge amount though as I also shaved down the cap itself a bit to make sure it had clearance to fit.
No biggie in the end but a bit disappointing that it required a bit of fettling to fit - posted as I was wondering if...
Recently I got a replacement oil cap for my Ph2 172 - Part No 8200062947 - but it doesn't seem to fit :(
The diameter of the cap is slightly larger than the original cap and means that the side of the inlet manifold runner interferes with it, and I physically can't secure down onto the engine...
Problem resolved 👍
Had the dash off yesterday and took a look, but cleaning and re-seating the connectors etc didn't magically clear the fault. From what I could see the airbag ECU was also clean and I hadn't ever spilled any drinks on it, nor did it look like previous owners had either...
In the last week I have been getting intermittent, tending to in the last day or so more permanent AIRBAG + SERV lights on the dash - though when I start the car no lights show for a few seconds before they come on again. I had hoped it was the common pretensioner connector issue under the seats...
