I believe its platinum plugs it should be run on mate. I had the very same problem a few weeks ago, changed the plugs and the coil pack and the problem went away, the car was seriously lacking power when you floored it though.
Although the HT leads dont look knackered they very well could be.
Try Tesco mate i put up a post a couple of weeks ago, they were doing 21" blades for £5 (That was for two!)
There the square ones that VW and Audi use, not to shabby for a sky diver.
As opose to the way that Giraffe's drive them?
Listen mate people are quoting prices night and day on here, people might get 4 tires for £350 whilst others might get 4 for £200 so i would take every price you hear on here mildly with a pinch of salt.
As for running costs, get a clio thats...
lol, well i do try.
I dont think the moneys great mate and the aggrivation that comes with the job it doesnt level up, my older brother done a simillar job with arnold clark for 4 years in the service/parts dept and it was nothing but non-stop grief!
As for variety, i would say the variety...
If you take this job you will need two things
1.Ear plugs
2.A shovel
The ear plugs so you dont have to listen to the shiite that sales people talk and the shovel to shovel the shite that the salesman has spoken off the floor.
Good luck, this advice is free btw
Scared? You want to get yourself to a track day in the pissing rain matey boy and see what happens when the back end does step out, atleast when it spits you off you know what to expect and/or how to correct it:rasp:
