had a bash at some macro today for the first time

I had same issue, the main spade connector on the alternator had rusted through, it looked fine but I literally touched it and it fell apart and the wire fell off.
stripped the wire back, wrapped it round the pin and did the bolt up and then coated the lot in tiger seal and its been fine...
lets hope that if any of the complaining buggers run local businesses or work in them the darn things shut down as well as a result of reduced activity/patronage at the circuit
it all depends on how low you go as mentioned, lower the car more neg camber and more likely the tyres will catch, but with the lower offset wheels from the off you should be okay

the federals are a happy compromise, they are harder wearing than R888 and run slightly quieter as well whilst still providing probably around 75-80% of the dry grip of R888's
both are fairly adequate in the wet, but the federals hold up better with standing water.

I've tried that, get some funny looks with the 50" tv and ps3 balanced on the trolley in the meat isle, not to mention you need a feck off big extension cable which is a trip hazard. damn h&s ruining my fun
