My 200 hasn't been washed since I bought it. Leaving it to fester in your garage is probably worse than driving it in the rain though. At least if you drive it in the rain it will wash all the salt off!

Something that big is only worth doing if you want to do some stuff yourself. All you need is a half decent tool kit and a couple of weekends. Remove bumpers, trims, lights etc. Bodyshops charge £50+ an hour labour so the more you do, the cheaper the bill will be!

Cable ties?? I mean something to attatch the wires to the shell of the car. Cut off switch will be next to the gearstick. Aero catches it is then. The only foam my local B&Q sell is for thin pipes. I want something that will completely cover the thickness of the cage.

open the tailgate, pull the boot seal off, unclip the drivers side plastics, pull the headlining down slightly and you'll be able to see it. If you're any good at being a sparky you'll fix it yourself. ;)
