    grey area, its not illegal to remove your cat, but your car is technically unroad worthy if its emissions are over the limit we sell them as "not for road use" its customers decision what they do with it

    don't pay more than 1hours labour, its a 45min job if you know what you are doing (thats for a new shape clio) the older ones take a bit longer due to the torsion bar

    we can do slightly quieter if requested (extra cost though) 182 cat won't fit onto a 172 system, i would'nt bother with the cat at all

    munk if i was going to do anything to the D7F engine it would be DIY in my spare time, i wouldn't sell it as a package or a conversion

    its aux belt driven on all 172's thats why its important to get you aux belt changed at 36K

    no need to touch the front hub nut on any clio to get the disc off get a big f**king hammer and beat this s**t out of it, it WILL come off

    where the pipes have been welded onto the flange, inside needs welding up and dressing, not 100% neccesary though

    all calipers on all clios have sliders i had to change 5 calipers on 182's over the past few months as the calipers were rogered

    the insides of the pipes where they meet the manifold flange need cleaning up, apart from than no need to touch it

    generally when you run race pads you remove the caliper shims we've had a couple of DS2500's that need a slight grind to fit them

    i can't find any data on the weights of the engine or gearbox i would estimate that the gearbox is around 60kg on its own!

    12K service, elf 5W 40 oil, exactly the same as you get at renault inc all genuine parts (so warranty is unaffected) not open sat steve sorry :(
