Are we talking about the latest 197bhp Golf GTI turbo?!? Intresting thread, Golfs have always been heavy cars unless the Golf is an Edition 30 then you can forget it, even at that i reckon it would still struggle. I think the Megane is more of a comparrison than the Clio!

ITs like a whining noise ive got the same problem, ive been told it can be associated with putting bigger wheels on the car. I have the standard wheels on and it seems to have happened, its in the rear i know that!
