How many miles would you expect to get out of £20 worth of petrol ??

Or possibly easier to work out, how many miles do you get from a full tank, and how much does it cost to fill up ?

115 miles @ 26.1mpg for £20 rush hour driving to and from work. Average speed around 24mph.

315 miles out of a full tank of V-Power costing £55 again rush hour driving.

If you are on a motorway @ 70mph expect your £20 to go far further.

My mates R27 is terrible, it never goes above 23mpg
no matter how he drives, you could say its because its new
if it wasn't for the fact that he's already done a few thousand
miles in it.

mine does 26mpg on a tankful.

but 26mpg is quite good.

cruisng like a tool at 65/70 will give you 30

50 - 32mpg.

90 - 26mpg/27mpg.

I got 140 miles out of £20 the other day, my problem is I have come from a diesel, so I forgot how hungry petrol cars can be!

+ the last time I owned a petrol car, 182, unleaded was nearer 90p a litre
