ai, that's the way society should work, if someone does something wrong beat the s**t out of them and wear a uniform to make it all okay............:headno:
I really do wonder about people sometimes, the guy behaved like a total idiot and put a lot of people at risk, but that's no excuse to...
I agree, if it was xerus grey I would have it in a second for 2k, but I have same Luke like dilemma, it would be my daily and living outside, on the street. personally I wouldn't feel bad about using it, but I feel the seller may do ;)
ai figured it would knock the tracking out, simple physics like ;) nice to have a ball park and tbh its fairly simple to track by eye to get it close enough to run about in prior to a proper track up with the sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads :)
£100 a wheel?!!!! jesus, did they paint them with gold enfused paint or in real platinum or something!
looks much better de stickered but I actually preferred it on the white wheels, but I kinda have a soft spot for white rims....ahem!
isn't yours a bit tinkered with however young sir ;)
in the ongoing saga I didn't reset the trip as yet and the car took a pasting up into the peak for climbing last night, so i'm back down at a lowly 41.8 again! :)
I do agree, mine runs and drives lovely but the delivery is a little.....interesting shall we say, all or nothing pretty much, the engine is capable of so much more so I would like stand alone to exploit that fact, especially now i'm getting into track more and more, it was all well and good for...
nail and head, this is the evolution, its happening right now and your all invited ;)
i'm talking about my mk1 el chippio, 16psi turbo F7P @ 280 odd bhp on a dodgy fastchip map ;)
I dare not add mine up tbh, and that's only the stuff accounted for, I buy a lot of used parts through forums with no paperwork, and I've been through 12 gearboxes I think now at an average of probably about 100 quid a pop
I have a folder full, but stuff that's just receipts gets bunged in there, probably loosely in date order as I just add new stuff to the top but its not organised as such.
I do keep tax/mot and insurance docs in separate plastic wallet though for ease of access
if the legislation was passed and enforced i'd love to see how much compensation the tuning and modification suppliers would be asking for for lost business.................
i find the manual very manageable at speed, however mine hasnt got any worn bush issues so if it does step out its very smooth and easy to catch
its just the lack of sensitivity to input that does my head in a bit, need to turn the wheel a bit to feel any lock as it where. turn less lock to...
I've crept upto 42.0 now and still rising as I settle into the new communte to work in last 500 miles, overall average is over last 2k hence the slow creep up :) may reset soon and just see what I get now average.
certainly have fella, all nicely settled pretty much now! space to store wheels and drive to work on the car.........heavenly! pop up for a cuppa if you like at some point :)
the other issue with slicks and clios is the JC5 boxes are a tad useless
having said that Rob over on RTOC uses a JC5 still on his 502bhp F7P turbo powered Renault 5 with full drag slicks and that laid a 10.6 second 1/4 mile last season and stood a good few launches and it still going now, so I...
