Just added a exhuast, induction kit and front spoiler to my policy and it cost me £180! 50 quid was for the front splitter! Im 23.

Sorry i didnt mean insure the front splitter, my company doesnt cover the cost of mods. I just meant they wont insure my car with a front splitter fitted as its made of carbon fibre!! Plus they dont know what it is anyway!

Hi what are good companies to get qoutes from for a 23 yr old, no ncb, on a 172. My insurance is being renewed nx week and as im now the main driver its going in my name. My cheapest qoute is £1400 from elephant. Im sick of giving all my details which takes ages then told they wont insure me!

BTW anyone got any pics of their car with the front splitter on? Does it look good?

The instructions say a 4mm hole in the splitter and a 2mm pilot hole in the bumper i assume thats to give u a little bit of play before you tighten the screws right up tight on the splitter?

Meguiars hot rims is the best ive used.

Yeah was thinking about taping it on first. Tape it on with duck tape? Is it paint friendly? :-) Also do i have to worry about the bumper/splitter splitting when drilling?
