Any tips on fitting the k-tec carbon fibre front splitter?

Going to fit mine 2moro. Anyone come into any problems getting it lined up perfectly etc? Any tips?

tape it onto the bumper then drill 1.5mm piolt hole through the splitter into the bumper, then use the self tappers

Yeah was thinking about taping it on first. Tape it on with duck tape? Is it paint friendly? Also do i have to worry about the bumper/splitter splitting when drilling?

use masking tape or elecy tape, just be carful when drilling, use a small bit to pilot then use the rite bit

not with a tiny 1.5mm drill bit, do it slowly

The instructions say a 4mm hole in the splitter and a 2mm pilot hole in the bumper i assume thats to give u a little bit of play before you tighten the screws right up tight on the splitter?

I know, they pretty vague tho. And im just panicking about getting it lined up perfect dont wanna mess it up and it looks quite tricky to get right!

tape it on in the correct position first

if it were me, i'd remove the bumper to fit it, but i'm a perfectionist
