I'm back!
Right. Basically the scheme isn't designed for large deposits. Think of it like this, if you put in £5k and your payments go down to £100 per month, your car is still worth £8k at the end. If you put £999 deposit in and your payments are £199 a month, your car is still worth £8k at...
You'd be mentally insane to put down any more than the minimum. The end value (£8k or whatever it is) will remain the same. The only thing to change will be your payments.
I've got to go out, i'll explain when I get back in a hour....
*cough*
F4r?
*cough*
;)
I am going to bung it up tomorrow and see how it goes. If its just a return pipe for the reserve tank then i'll fcuk it off and just make sure I never go under quarter of a tank.
It 'seems' to come out of the tank and back into the tank, hence why I think the fuel only comes out of the pipe and not out of the white plastic socket.
Right i've had a proper look at the tank and it would appear that a part has snapped. I believe it to be some sort of thing.... (:o)
Anyway, its a white plastic thing and its sheared off. Its situated just behind of the o/s/r wheel if you look at the car side on.
It looks like a pipe thats...
Who said anything about giving up??
As a side note, I put a jerry can in it at home and drove as fast as I could to work (its only about 2 miles away) and no leaks. At all.
This things worse than christine! lol.
I love you really. You and your strange dress sense....
As for pics, I may take some today. Or I may push it onto the railway line ready for the coal train to show it whos boss. I've not decided yet. It all depends if whatever fuel is left in it gets me to work tbh....
1. That car of yours never EVER went wrong in my posession. You and james are the ones that fubar'd it!
b) I would have built it from scratch had I had the space i've got now. Hindsight and all that I suppose. :(
Re: What can you tlle me about the Clio Authentique 1.2?
Oh, and as for the revving up and down bit, I had the same and I removed the throttle body, washed it all out with brake cleaner, WD40d it all and it ran perfik!
Re: What can you tlle me about the Clio Authentique 1.2?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I thought Awfulthentiques only came in 1.28v or 1.5 dci 65 models??
It has crossed my mind several times.
It pisses me off because everytime something goes wrong, its not something i've done, its the shitty old valver bits that are left over!!
I spent a really good evening on the valver tonight. Fitted new seats, new belts, ph2 boot strip, raised the suspension up an inch, altered the camber to something sensible, charged the battery and put it all back together. Lovely. Took it for a nice 30 mile (ish) drive and was very very proud...
