Nah, just rip it out. It looks bloody awful and if the cars done any more than 10,000 miles it will be crusty and useless.
You will need to clean the underside of the bonnet though, make it spick and span. ;)
For a 1st car, a set of door speakers (As big as you can fit) and a set of 6x9's will be more than fine.
Set the fader slightly to the rear, turn up the bass and enjoy.
Pointless spending a shitload imo.

They're on the car at the moment, but its going to powerstation soon to have my ASTs fitted and geo setup so i'll keep them and send them to you. (If thats the problem! lol)
Can't say for sure, but jack the car up and and turn the wheels all the way left and all the way right. If the top mount is turning/looks loose, i'd say its fubar'd!
Standard topmounts are the way forward.

They don't! I had loads of customers/mates/general people in work today who all commented on how nice it was for the age! In these pics it looks fit for scrap! lol.

-Fitted standard valver seats and seatbelts (for the ring, buckets not viable)
-Fitted new inlet manifold, new coil pack, new plugs and new HT leads
