Gordons right its illegal to tow with the 182 as Renault never certified it with one. There are a few possible reasons for this but theres no good reason the shell is the same the engine (bar cams and head etc) is the same as Lagunas which can tow. The clucth isn't stunning so maybe that as a...
Try the Renault dealership (I forget the name) on the Wirral there the cheapest but I wouldn't trust them but there cheap. Lookers Chester are the best either that or go to GDI or Rentech the'll do it cheaper but its a fair drive down to see them.
Plugs are good for 72k belt many people have...
Your right yes but then again we'd never know if they would have saved a life or reduced an injoury. Airbags aren't the be end don't get me wrong there great and worth the weight penalty but in a crash which isn't that severe there no need for them to go off. The passenger cell compartment of...
The airbags not going off not a huge issue infact its a benefit to the next owner as you don't need to go fixing them. Airbags can do more harm than good in crases hence tney don't always go off.
I'm suprised its not being broken up its worth a fair bit in parts.
If the price was low enough...
I bought them from MAR at Richspeed and he fitted them but noone can get hold of him any more (the setup used either 259mm stock disks or 172 280mm ones. You don't need the bigger disk as it seems it worsens handling wise as it increases unsprung weight and gives no more stopping power)...
It depend the 1.4 is more torque and powerful but at the end of the day where do you end?
Personally I'd get a 1.4 as a second hand car for £500 extra as its a better ie less problamatic engine and less likly to be bought and ragged about by young owners whereas a 1.2 may have been. From new...
Yep superb track for a Clio realy.
The back double right hander is great fun catching Caterhams as they have to go slow/ run out of guts.
Nope no holding back need better tyres managed to go from brand new to barly legal in the afternoon incluing 1.5 tanks of fuel.
I don't see it mattering hugly. Getting the car going asap is best though least the cars having some throttle not sitting there taking ages to wam up isn't good though.
it's got a 2 litre block from an old fire damaged Corrado, flowed head with an inlet cam that's been made by cutting the end off an exhaust cam Still runs the antiquated K-Jet mechanical fuel injection, stock cast manifold and downpipe

Pro silkline 5-40 is a popular choice it depends what driving you do etc thoough I'd run. I'd not bother chnaging it seems a waste for just 3k.
To get to the filter remove the injector protection cover its only 3 bolts the you cna reach down and get hold of the filter.
jon_r whast thast like for posting is it any good or is it just for one offs?
Just thinking is a PDa of some sorts a better idea to use and link to a mobile? IF so I've got a Nokia 6820a with Bluetooth can i use this to connect to a PDA?
I like that didn't know you'd let it rev to 6k though. Will it go any higher?
Do you have any graphs or power? I'd be interested to see what the power like that high up but then again its a BMW 2.0 turbo isn't it?
Are you still using the stock intercooler.
