10/40 is the standard used oil and the best for most uses but the lower the first number it won't hurt you can use upto 15/50 in the engine dependsing on operating climate and temps and as low as 0-30 it all depends where you live and how you use it. Servicing rules/time/whats done etc...

Royal purple the best but price at £50 or so for enough to do a Clio box. I use Millers 75/90 (the spec your supposedto) and I like it seems to smooth out the change a bit but its no better from cold.

The bigger offset the Turini alloys have will help with the feedback issue. Also there lighter whels which helps.

Give yoozaspoirt a ring they have a 4 pot setup availibale which will be cheaper than ktec stuff and it will be upto the job. However you'll probably be looking at a discount being as you;'ve spent so much money there.

200hp as the S1600 series cars use those bits. Depending how far you want to push its 300+hp could be done but you'd end up with a car with no original bits.

Thrash it all the time and it will get quicker and freer reving. High milage Renault engines are particularly prone to this for some reason a 50k lightly driven vs hard drive the hard driven will be quicker.

The gearbox is week on the 1.2 anyway pllus to run any decient boost you need a new intake manifold as the stock ones plastic so run any boost and you'll blow it to pieces.

You can get a 172 engine brakes and suspension fitted for much less and thats a reliable stronger 166hp or more.

You have to use the proper Renault one or the copy the dealers sell. no other units work.

85mpg in the diesel Its funny my worse ever is 29.9 which is higher thn some peoples best ever.

Depeds how much longer but to extend to 90k and another 2yrs its £600. You can get one or two year entended waranties upto 120k.

If only the new car would come in white that would be superb. Not much chance though the dci is more likly. There are a few white Rs out there on the road most arte fakes though.
