I'd take it out, get it nice and hot and give it a good blast for a while. Let everything clear itself out. Doing 3 miles a day isn't doing it any favours. Exhaust blowing is a possibility, but I doubt it. Been drinking again?

In the last three weeks, I have driven nearly 2,200 miles in a Bora Tdi 115 and I have to say, very very impressed with it! Absolutely useless at cornering/speed but as a motorway cruiser, its bloody brilliant!!
