For £20k I'd be buying a mint Integrale or a mint Rs500.
You can shove your R26r up your ass as far as i'm concerned. Its all about depreciation baby, and they'll earn money faster than you!!
I have a mk1 Clio, and I can honestly say its not a 'great' car.
Its rusty, it breaks, the heaters are s**t, the wipers (Despite new arms and blades) lift off the windscreen at 120mph, the thing rattles more than anything i've ever driven...
But despite all this, I love it. I love it for...
Thats Mr Hemborough.
I sold that to him brand new (although its his wifes car) and he completely fcuked me over. I hate him. And he's a Copper.
*spits*
I use Motorcare in Kingswood or DK cars and Bikes in Fishponds.
pm me if you want the number.
Don't mean to sound rude but messers need not apply!! These boys are proper busy all the time and are good friends of mine.
I took a Clio 172 cup in part exchange when I worked at Renault that had a towbar. The guy used it for towing a trailer with his mountain bike and camping kit.
Car was a heap of s**t too. Had 97,000 miles on it and he only serviced it once! lol.
Soak it in Autoglym interior cleaner, (Diluted) Scrub with a nailbrush until it foams up nice, then vac it all off with a wet vac.
Will come up like brand new!
I'm really s**t at typing what i'm trying to say so bear with me....
Look in your handbook and it will tell you what items require replacing on a 36k service. One of those is an Aux Belt kit.
As your car is not due a cambelt until 72,000 miles, I assumed you were wanting to replace it on...
I've never actually thought about the reasons behind it, but my old Honda Accord (V reg 2.0 petrol) used to drink petrol when using the Cruise Control. Shockingly so!
I've never been a fan of it after that.
