Nah they've put some sort of 'resonator' on the exhaust so when you give it the beans it has a similar bark to the 5 pot. Apparently they developed it due to people's worries. They couldn't use the old engine as easy though anyway after offloading Volvo to the Chinese.

Your bank account would prefer it, it's as fast as yours but does upper 30s mpg combined. It was reading 22mpg when he took me for a quick spin in it though. :S

I always fancied getting one of these and as the mk4 Escort is really just a facelifted mk3 make it look like this.

I always liked the look of the ZT in that colour, I'd have the Mustang engined V8 model myself. There was one when I went to the BTCC at Croft a couple of years ago and it sounded great.

I'd also like a Trabant estate, maybe swap the standard 2 stroke engine for something a bit more spicy.
