No need to use make up pads for this. A MF pad is just fine and easier in all honesty. You really don't need to be careful with application as you've said.
@gally @Scrooge @Yellow Dave @Chapppers11 @aucky
Gents, what is your go to Summer/show wax these days? I was about to get a full pot of illusion coupled with a wax mate but thought I'd ask first.
The blue of the Zed doesn't respond to a quick going over with Reload as the old red Panzer used...
Plan! Different place. The actual steak wasn't great.
Yeah I wanted a more weighted, shorter knob but oem+. No point going zhp as for nearly the same cost you then have to mod it to keep the illumination.
@TheEvilGiraffe is after my old one. Unsure whether you could give him yours and you...
I'd leave it. Exhaust and a map? Are they really needed? Look immaculate. Keep it that way and you'll have a much larger pool of interested parties when you come to sell it in 13 days.
@Cub. @Sir_Dave cool club points
@BIFCAIDS thanks Mike but I'm all good buddy! Hope you're well?
@ForceIndia the F10 is attached with three tabs that you remove - the new knob is much Waitey'er than the standard by all accounts and believe, from people who have done it, it's just pull...
Beading is better on Reload, application was easier on C2V3 before the release of the 2014 Reload update. Now I find them both as easy as each other. I've stuck with Reload after having another issue and receiving a very kind free bottle from Craig.
I was about to post about this after watching the video. 2.6 to 60? And 6.something to 100?
While I appreciate what everyone says about driver engagement, and have really come to recognise that with the Zed over the S3, that sort of power and grip is all I'd need D2D. Why bother with a Gt3/4 if...
Nothing like a new car. No stone chips, scratches, areas of bad paint etc... so much more rewarding.
Amazed this was in pretty good condition! The majority of LB Mk7 Golfs I've seen are marred to buggery, both IRL and on t'interwebs.
Lol. Group buy likely to go ahead. I've already got a decent amount off from the stealers.
I still love it. And dad does too. Useable power, great sound, soft top which in the current weather is just brilliant!
More parts ordered...
Yearned after this part for months. Saw it on the forum when I first bought my car and noted mine didn't have an Aux plug. Spoke to @Rob about it and decided, as it appeared these were no longer made, I might have to do some drilling and position the input underneath the...
Looks great, Andy! Lovely colour and good attempt on the exhaust - you're never going to contend with pitting as that's permanent I'm afraid.
As Kev has said, tar spots can be removed with clay, as before Tar removers were all the rage, that was a piece of clay's purpose as you've correctly...
This will sort the weak from the chaff. In my industry it's essential, with our competitors losing out on a lot of income if they are not optimised. This will slowly spread throughout the entire business world, with importance way above being "socially present".
