The problem with grease is its completely water resistant. You need a good grease remover. And Ainsley Harriet rates the stuff for doing just that!

Wall paper scraper to get the thick stuff off then leave it to soak in Fairy power spray. Once most of the crap is off, use the APC or Wheel cleaner that you have.

I've got Gaz on my Mk1 Clio 16v and they are useless. I'd rather use straws and glue.

Thats my biggest bug bear tbh. Look at the join where the headlight/wing/bumper meets. Its completely random! no thought gone into it at all. And don't get me sterted on the Exhausts!!! When there was Renault training courses on the 197, we were all told that ''chavs'' fitting big exhausts...

I've done it on mine. My personal reason was that I wanted as little in the engine bay as possible so it makes everything easier to maintain/repair should I need to. If I'm honest adding 5hp to a car with 170hp that weighs about 900kgs isn't really worth worrying about. IMO.
