I'm sure it will be. Got the top man on the job!
Unfortunately i've been flat out at work, ill, or skint. My mechanic was on holiday for 3 weeks, then his mrs had a kid so he was out for another 2 weeks...... Just loads of bad luck on the labour front. Mechanically we've been 100% aggro free...
Wall paper scraper to get the thick stuff off then leave it to soak in Fairy power spray.
Once most of the crap is off, use the APC or Wheel cleaner that you have.
I'm a bit annoyed at myself tbh.
The only reason I changed the wheels and the engine was because it wasn't my car. It was all modified by the previous owner and it just felt like I was driving around in his car. Wish i'd just kept it as it was. :(
I've still got it. But it looks a little worse for wear. Nearly finished, but a 6 week job has taken nearly a year. :(
Hold on i'll find a pic.
Here we go.
Thats my biggest bug bear tbh. Look at the join where the headlight/wing/bumper meets. Its completely random! no thought gone into it at all.
And don't get me sterted on the Exhausts!!! When there was Renault training courses on the 197, we were all told that ''chavs'' fitting big exhausts...
I don't want to sound rude, but thats terrible. Looks like Noddy's car?!!
Blue, white, Red, Yellow, Anthracite and chrome trim.... I'd have told them to keep it.
As long as your happy though!
I've done it on mine. My personal reason was that I wanted as little in the engine bay as possible so it makes everything easier to maintain/repair should I need to. If I'm honest adding 5hp to a car with 170hp that weighs about 900kgs isn't really worth worrying about. IMO.
