I can't help think that (and maybe rightly so) the 200t is being compared to everything before it. If you look at the package as a whole, without the pedigree then it's a good car with good features and power for a 1.6t. The problem with every new renaultsport hot hatch and Peugeot for that...
Really nice project mate, well done for saving it as has been said. As said bargains like this don't come up often!!
The wheels look good, how long did they take please?
Try driving an Abarth punto. "It's just a punto made by fiat". I don't bite to it anymore because that's what they want. The p1sstaking doesn't stop there but I won't go into that!!
Very nice mate and some good additions done to her. She's a credit to you.
Only moan is I'd of left the speedline stickers to just the one by the valves. Just my opinion of course.
Welcome mate.
In honesty I'd enjoy the car for the time being, and save for a 172 or 182.
However the other side of me says yes go for a 172 bumper, being pearl black you should be able to get bumpers etc in your colour. Many people have fitted the front bumper without the wings and skirts etc...
I believe the manifold is one of if not th e only reason the 182 is 'more' powerful than the 172. Might be wrong though. Definately worth it as you've got the engine out. They are cheap too.
The springs are a ball ache to fit (fronts anyway) but the tears are easy. I managed all of mine on my own but I had access to the tools needed. It was done on axle stands though so if you've got the tools and follow the guides on here it isn't that bad. Seriously if I did it, a blind panda can...
I agree. Try Twitter, speak to them about it via dm, they may be more inclined to help you if they think you'll tweet how bad the service is.
That price for extra data is like going back a few years.
I'm very suprised this hasn't been done already. I toyed with the idea back when I had money, but didn't have the ability to do it myself so left it.
I reckon it would look good though on coilovers but put some 182 wheels on too.
Welcome. On the centre section I had a pipe put into mine when I had it, cost £40 from an exhaust place (not powerflow) so shop about.
Welcome to the club, you'll love it. I miss my 182 all the time.
What a fun read mate. Love what you've done to it, really is a credit to you.
Sensible people (not me) would say don't waste your money but when you've got a finished product like this how can you not?
Keep us informed with any other updates.
Nice mate. Get some plain standard plates off eBay for about £10 a pair.
Then maybe have a go at colour coding, you'd be amazed at the difference that makes even on a black Clio.
