Mk1s are the ones Id be tempeted to go for. Th2 Mk2 looks more grown up inside and out IMO but the mk1s easier to work one (no annoying UCH or multiplex wiring to work on) plus as Fred said cable throttle bodies rock. After driving 182 Im still shocked how much better the Williams (cable...
Demon Tweeks do a huge selection of upratd fns wich woud shift a load of air over that radiator. Not sure how easy fitment would be though theres not much space in there.

Will these def fit mine??Have u got any pics mate, or links to it?
Im sure they will do ring ktec if you ant to check but Mk2 1s (none 1.6 16V and V6 and 172s) use the 239mm disks which is the same size plus use the same pads.
See my...
Ive got a big disk conversion kit for sale is the ketc one £100 for it.
It looks very good behind the wheels, 280mm disks I think I got rid as my calipers were gone but you ue stok calipers.
Size 17 I think from memory.
Youll have fun geting them off though, get an impact driver else youll never got them off. The only other option is to drill the heads of them and thats a right pain.

I think we agree better disks/pads than stock are necessary for track day work and since I dont like changing disks and pads often I think with some uprated pads and disks (useable for track day...

Unfortunatly not youd need a turbo from something like a 3.0 diesel. Plus setting it up is way more work...
You can get cheap Williams I got mine for not much more than a valver would cost and it has most of the track day modifications you could want.
However if ou can get a chep valver for under £500 with 6 months MOT IMO Id be tempted by that least then you can write it off if/when you crash it...
