It was an RS no question was striiped out in the back. It had harnesses in it plus that exhaust (somehting like Mirror it was called I think) and an K+N sticker. Wasnt as quick as I thought it would have been the 182 was quicker its only big advantage was power in strgith lines.
Shame that picture didnt have sound as well.
Anyway found out what the clunking sound could be and why the cars blue smoke keeps appearing.
Ive got this terriable feeling though that that picture was taken about 100 feet before my off.
New tyres are on order.
You can get better deals.
I got offer that price with both cup packs and metalic paint brand new plus 4 year interest free credit (40% depostire requitred) which although I could pay cash Id be able to get about £1k interest on the money hence bringing the price down to £11.5k
You can often get 172 boxes for less money. There more common since Williams boxes are much rarer.
The box will fit no problem shaft etc all match up. Its a better box, although saying that the Williams box is quite good altoough most of them have over 70k on them and many well over 100k on...
You dont need it with the suspension setup the Clio has.
The front one does seem to be worthwhile though handling wise. Just make sure its a proper bolt one or weld in one not one which attaches to the top strut nut.
Yep any CD changer from any age Clio will fit any other Clio. Just remember you want the whole cable right th ay to the back of the dash dont accept anyhting which is cut or missing a bit as those cable are expensive.
Pads are only cheap £40 Id say from halfords.
Follow the guide on the forum and you can do it yourself its dead easy 1/2 a side at worse.
A gargae will charge about 1 hrs labour to do it so that £35 or so.
Nope theyve been testing them for a while back.
I think I know where bits of the chassic are from and if its true then the car will be excellent. Then agin even if its not it will still be stunning.
Nope Ive tested 4th good for 95 or so but all power dies after 4k.
Mine had trouble getting 100 at one time I dont know what it was but it went away. I guess the hot weather is the biggest problem in our 65 p sicne there on intercooler and 1 bar of boost which must make for some warm intake temps.

There was a recient topic on it a while ago might be worth doing a search I cannot remember what was said.
There are two ways
Get Renault techie to disenable it with there computers (they probably won)
Pull the black cable on the seatbelt wiring it make the ECU think the seatbelt is always belted. However if you crash without a belt on the airbag will set off differently than if you have a...
Arr right yours is the Mk2 phase 1 then with the 239mm disks.

You can always make the exhaust yourself Ive just done it to my Williams its not that difficult.
You could but its very very expensive £1k just for the wiring looms.
There are better sat nav systems just by the Renault pumped dash bit ndd stick the aftermarket screen in there.
Depends what model Clio you have is it Mk 2 phase 2 (ie traingular lights one).
Most normal none spots are 236mm disks the Mk2 phase 2 have 259mm though. You cannot fit one set of disk on the other as you need the calipers as well.
The disks will fit but the calipers are to close to the disk and you wont get them on.
The K-tec big brake setup has the better looking bigger disks using the same calipers. They supply brackets with the kit which push the disk further out.
Ive got a set of the k-tec brakes for sale if your...
Speedos are well out though to be fair.
Anyway thats only 5mph slower than mine and err how often do you drive at that sort of speed the difference between 115 and 102 isnt going to mean getting anywahere is noticably quicker.
Difficualt one but the Williams I think. However I miss the stearing from my Escort. Unfortunatly the chassie and suspension wasnt that good for outright performance.
Mine hit 100 if you leave it a bit.
However in Germany I tested it out foot to the floor for a few minutes and we topped out at 115. My mates got photo somewhere of it. That was with a load of stuff in the car (3 tyres and about 100kg of luggage etc).
The cars going to be N/a for definate.
Power wise its always been said unofficially the amount of power a new Clio would need to stay on top of the others in its market is just under 200hp. The new engine has proved capable of 215hp but they are likly to limit to to under 200 iMo and use the...
I dont see what your problem is if you dont want to sell for that price dont sell. The parkers guide price doesnt mean anything Im sure cocopops cars worth more than the price he sold if for so is he wrong to sell at the price he did?
Just have a mess roung thats what I did with mine preferably have the car setup to understear rarthe than anything.
I prefere my dci quite lightly damper but the Williams very hard.
I found front and back to be even but the manual recomends more damping on the front.
And yes the back...
