Yep. I had a a 172 cup and a 172 and had both up for sale. A lad of about 20 wanted to buy the cup but his insurance company refused to insure it. He ended up having to buy the normal one.
Should have bought my Exclusive. THE BEST condition 172 i've ever seen in my life. And I've had brand new ones!!
Some boy racer type dude bought it from me and I have no doubt it will be wrapped round a tree in no time. :(
Thats the thing. Unless you put down a hefty (50%!) deposit on your finance, the only way it will work for you is if you keep the car for the full term of the agreement.
People that put down £1000 on a £9000 car then try and change it after 12 months only end up putting themselves deeper in...
There are no rules. You can trade/finance whatever you want. (within reason)
But what you want to do is perfectly fine. You need to look at your settlement figure on the current agreement, as if its £12k for example, you will be financing a LOT of money for this new car.
Yes. A wider stance at the front will improve handling. Not sure why you'd want to widen the rear though....
My mate races and pretty much everyone in his class is either running rediculous offset wheels or massive spacers on the front.
