There is absolutely nothing wrong with the standard brakes on a 172/or a cup. You must have had some cheap aftermarket ones fitted by the previous owner or something.

Love it! :D Sooo miss my M3. When you say satin black the parcel shelf, there is a dye that you can buy as the satin black rattle can stuff marks very easily when/if something brushes against it. If your stuck I can send you some.
