I've just finished breaking a Clio 172 and I will NEVER EVER bother again. Looks like a junk yard, its a pain in the ass and just a complete eye sore.
I'd have sold it for £1300 and been happy with that tbh.
Damo, Wheels are nearly on... Had to order some bigger spigot rings.
Justine, i'll bell you later. But that sounds the best option I think. £40 extra beer money a month!! :D
Revels, Your welcome to her..........
Afternoon geeks.
I currently spend around £60 a month on Broadband, Digital TV, and home phone with Virgin Media.
I don't use the home phone so can get rid of that, I don't watch telly (very rarely...) so can get rid of that. (TV has freeview built in so i'll just use that)
What can I...
If I have a 172 with a guff engine, and I wanted to just swap engines, What do I need?
Do I need the keys/ECU etc? Or can I get away with just the lump??
Cheers.
I've tried very VERY hard not to post anything negative....
But the more I look at this thread, it makes me laugh. No matter how much you try and sugarcoat it, you need to admit that you've fucked up.
Its pants.
Car needs to have full and up to date Renault Main dealer service history for it to qualify for warranty.
They are complete c***s when it comes to bodywork warranty.
If you've got a letter from said company saying that it is clear, then it will be fine.
However, If you want to be 101% confident, you can ring the Hpi people and ask them to update but that will still take a few days.
Will the garage offer you a refundable deposit just to secure the car...
