210hp 106 gti. Managed fastest lap aswell, 1.18 dead iirc!! Even worse, his mate (pretty much same car) went over the rumble strips and the vibrations caused the emergency engine shut off switch to activate!! He was devastated.

My mate was hammering everything but retired due to driveshaft probs. Gutted really as he puts his heart and soul into it! :(

I snapped a Halfords 'pro' ratchet doing mine. Used a wheel brace and a scaffold bar in the end. c**t of a thing to remove.

They are good, my mate has one (BIG jts on here) but I don't think I could trust it. Its french and as a result will fall apart.
