If you've been 6000rpm standing starts, chances are your engine mounts and/or gearbox mounts are buggered.

Sounds daft, but have you tried jumping it off another car? If its immobiliser related, it will normally turn over, just won't start.

Looks like the suspension is broken?

Throttle bodies if I were you mate. I know 2 people running bodies, and reliability seems fine. Expect to pay circa £5k for a good setup mind you!!

Probably about £1200-ish mate. I saw the blue one the other day, and apart from the steering wheel thing that they suffer, its a nice clean car to be honest. Thoroughly nice bloke too!!

I think that the car is a BIG no no. I'd much rather buy from a member off here/pistonheads thats looked after his car rather than some mickey dealer that thinks stickers and 20" chrome spinners sells a car.

Weld a socket to it. If its got that shitty loose collar on it, its a f**king pain in the ass to remove. Although if its a genuine Renault one, they only made about 8 different types, so if you have a few mates with Clio's, chances are one of them will fit it. Our old mechaninc in work had...
