Either get there really early or really late if you want to avoid que's. (sp?lol)
Its a good day out as long as you don't take it too seriously. Theres a load of chav-wagons there with some right neds driving around.
Deffo a good day out though, and i'll be going again.
Mate, i'm not trying to piss on your fire or anything and i apologise if it comes across that way, but are you sure theres not more rot in that car???
Because to me, in this pic, it looks like the inner wing has rusted away from the outer wing and the whole lot has just been skimmed with...
Me personally, i'd go for strength and reliability first.
No point in having a fandango cage and all the shiny bits if it keeps f**king up after every outing.
Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
Loving the work dude.
Really really not looking forward to the cage bit of my car. So much so I may not even bother.
+1!
My mate did mine (A long time ago, like 3 years?) with free parts (alone, worth £100) and he charged me £200.
People saying a 172 Cam and Aux belt kit fitted is £150 is horse s**t.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
172 shocks Jord? I was thinking about some plastic tubing, like thin drainpipe? to cover my shocks as they are buggered! Sooo much crap on them.
Re: someph-ing different...........
If it was me neill, I'd leave the door sill plastics in. (bottom of 6th pic) The amount of f**king retards that get in my car and manage to get their porkchop feet tangled in the wires is no odds to nobody.
Just a thought.
