I'd stick the drivers one into the carpet mate. There's nothing more annoying than the drivers mat slipping up under the pedals....

I've (well, my mate lol!) has lowered 3 of my 172's and has never used spring compressors.
Price wise, £15 labour a corner is usually the going rate. Took about 1 hour start to finish.

£300-400 will buy you a needy example.
They are cheap to get them up to scratch though, despite what people say. £350 will see new arch lips welded on and painted, £150 for the steering rack to be welded, £75 a side for new sills...

I know fek all about engines (i'm learning slowly tho!)
Will a Williams Supersprint tubular manifold fit my car? If the answer is no, what else can i fit?? My mechanic reckons the manifold is strangling the power.....
