My car was completely stripped out so would have been crashier than a normal 'heavier' car but tbh, I found them quite good on the road.
No worse than standard springs thats for sure.
I had Apex springs. Fine for the road/looks but utter dog shite if you intend track work.
(I can't see your car in your profile, so you may not want to use it on track! lol)
It has mdf boards in place of the rear quarter panels. I don't want a full set of four speakers in the car. I'm trying to save weight as its a track car!
I have Infinity components and a good quality Alpine HU, but while driving a stripped out car at 80mph on the M4 you cannot hear them!
I'm going to ditch the components as weight save and fit the 6x9s in the rear quarters with plenty of dynamat in there!
To the OP, can you not get the previous owners name off the logbook, 118118 it, and ring him to find out where it was serviced?
I did that once on a VW Polo and after parting with £6 for a service book, the dealer filled it with 6 genuine stamps!
However, most people are ex-directory...
I was reading a book the other day about Rio and the Coke problem they have.
You are called Crackboy. You are located in Rio.
See where this is going??
