Use some products from Meguirs or Autoglym.
T-Cut has been around since 1950 and paint has changed a whole lot since then and as such, T-Cut is now frikkin useless.
Autoglym tar and glue remover. Can be bought in Halfords and the likes.
Use loads soaked onto a rag. Just make sure you use plenty of polish on it afterwards.
Know the car very well.

soak it in Autoglym engine degreaser, lob £2 into the local jetwash and clean the s**t. Will come up brand new.
Just avoid the coil pack and the induction kit and leave the engine running.
