On a car i recently sold, i chopped it off and it was fine.
However, this was the day before the guy collected it, so I couldn't tell you if it lasted/didn't blow anything up.
Seemed fine at the time tbh.
It doesn't really.
You about sunday? I'll try and get that compressor. Be dead handy if we can do the top mounts.
(who am I kidding?!)
Be dead handy if YOU could fit the top mounts! lol
I bought my car with the impression the knocking was fucked front suspension. I've since fitted brand new suspension all the way round. Its sort of quietened (sp) down but its still there. Unless you drive very very gently, theres a loud but very fast knocking vibration noise under acceleration...
I think we're getting crossed wires with what i mean about him polishing...... lol!
I'll nip out and get some show car glaze tomorrow then.
As for testing, I guess so. I went in today and he had 8 brand new tyres and all the bodywork was fitted and the car was halfway on his trailer. But no...
When i say no polishing by Kifty, i mean he doesn't maintain his cars in the way i do. He just washes them.
TBH Rich, I only wanted to make it shine a bit more as I'm going to photograph it on saturday. But like you say, i'll probably be better off just washing and shamoosing it for the time...
Go to somewhere like Kingswood Autoparts. (in kingswood ;))
I needed two astra Mk4 covers and vauxhall wanted 60 odd quid. I went to Kingswood and got the pair for £27!
That still doesn't help me you helmet.
Yes it was baked. In fact i was stood in the oven just as it switched off and heat was an understatement! lol
I'll just wash and shammoos it, leave the polishing to the next owner!
If it was my car, i'd lower it (60mm at least!!), fit smoked side repeaters and fit plain number plates.
Love Hologram grey and the wheels really suit it!
Cars had a repaint and i want to give it a spit and polish this weekend.
Whats the best to use? I've only got AG SRP but i'm assuming thats probably not the best??
Cheers! :)
