I have thought about that. I know a guy with a 52 plater (pre facelift i beleive??) 2.4 diesel thing. I used to have a 2.5v6 one but after 2 clutches in 2000 miles, i got rid! lol
GTVlew, (aka Bros ;))No idea mate! They're so randomly priced!
Been looking at an 02 plate with 80k, £6500. An 01/51 plate with 90k, £6500, and a X plate with 60k on it for £5500. Theres no pattern with them.
I'm going self employed as of thursday so to be honest i won't have the time to be doing anymore trackdays. Also as a road car its a pain in the ass with the harnesses.
Bear with me on this one....
Currently I have a 197 (company car, which goes back thursday)
A ph-1 172 which is my track car (I never have the time for it anymore)
A pug 306 hdi as my Mrs' runner.
Now, i'm leaviing my job tomorrow, so the company car will be lost. We need a newer/up to date...
I was charged £80 to fit all three (lower g/b, upper g/b and dogbone) genuine Renault mounts along with a 'modification' to the lower one to stop knocking as the track car obviously takes a load of abuse.
We have to sign a piece of paper before we work to say that we are willing to work more than 48 hours per week. Thats been in place for the time that i've been there.
I was on orange but the signal where i live is dire. Moved to vodafone along with most of my mates and the signal to be fair is spot on!
Only downside is that orange signal never worked in the pub so i always had an excuse for the mrs when i come home. Not anymore... :(
Car garages are awesome to work at, you get to talk about cars all day and sit round getting paid to talk!
I've had enough of the hours though, with a young family to look after
Seb, i know where you're coming from! lol
Paul, Yeah. Handed my notice in at the start of december, the 197 was costing mr too much!!! LOL!!!!
