there is a small spacer on the back of the disc... its removable but often gets stuck. Id check the back of your old ones.

Jack up car, preferably both fronts at the same time. Undo the pinch bolt and bolts holding it to the wish bone. use ball joint splitter to remove fully. Be careful the driveshafts don't get pulled out in the process.

My tyres don't have any RSR's in stock. Ears Motorsport are doing 195/50/15 Yoko AD08's for £310 delivered and R1-R's for a bit less.

172 is 12mm ball joint bolts. For road use I imagine the oem arb bushes would be just fine (and cheaper)

Ive just done mine with one of these kits. They are really good! I was really surprised with how well it worked.

In my very limited experience I'd say you're better off with a proper bush removing tool. I had to do mine for the MOT and ended up borrowing the right tool from a local garage after spending ages with a hammer and then a vice.
