Have you checked its not just a leaky coolant pipe? they are rubber and will perish. could be dripping onto the manifold which is causing the burning smell.

the 520x84/90 are what people regard as the 3/4 plates, they won't get you through an MOT so you need to keep the standard size for that, I am pretty sure blank plates are fine, unless your car is 06 registration or newer, then you need the place or postcode of where the car was first registered.

The 182 will be back on the drive next to the Tamora in just under 2 months, I don't see many 182's around Portsmouth normally. I did see an RB on ports down hill at micks monster burger, looked abit of a mess lots of dents, halfords shopping list stickers down the door and a tool driving it.

You can get adapters for the tankard headunit, have a search on here and google. There are not many standard looking ones around. The alpine headunits are a similar kind of colour to the Clio interior. And some have amber backlight to match the rest of the interior lights

A new steering wheel will not affect the fingertip controls, i think you will loose the cruise control buttons though
