i was in same position as you last week, whether to upgrade from xp 32bit to xp 64. I decided to go for it, but personally, after installing it, i didnt really see any performence change what so ever. I also had a ball ache as the drivers that came with my motherboard for sound card did not...

Basically, i reformat way to often, and its a pain in the arse having to reinstall windows, all my drivers, change windows settings, and then install little bits of software. So i was thinking, would it be posible using norton ghost, to reformat my pc now, install my drivers, change the windows...

failing that you might be better off just doin a reformat, and making sure you have the correct software installed that will prevent you getting any s**t on your computer to stop it happening again =0)

nah it wont be to do with voltages, if you had of increased the voltages last night the temp would have been even higher, therefore meltin your chip. Will just be the cooling, should be twice as good when you get your new cpu cooler. What other fans are on your case ??

yes it will let you upload any music you download, as long as its a format it plays anyway. I would suggest buying/downloading Anapod though, as iTunes is pretty shite tbqh
