when ever i do some heavy breaking in my 172 i feel like a vibration under my foot coming up from the peddel. this is mainly when i just slam on the anchers and wait for it to stop.... but is this ABS????? i have never owned a car with abs breaks so if iv ever driven one i havnt ever pushed...

the A303 on the way home was quite funny too after stopping off at the stones, i was completly full of mud and crap and decided to leave a 1mile long brown streak on it lol

i think that short run between warminster and the A36 was prity good quick sprint.... plus the A36 its self wasnt to bad once it was clear.....managed a good blast along there

iv just come back from a long weekend down there......fantastic roads driving down there....... stayed at the warminster services (travel in) on the A36. suprised no one saw me driving about i saw loads of 172's in and around bath and longleat

roght i just had a long long chat with a audio specalist and he says that the clio loom is a standard iso loom and that all the colours etc should all be standard and that i shouldnt need anything other than the pathc leads to wire in the stereo....... well i also went to halfords and found...

well iv got the adaptor for the remote and the display as well as the patch lead for the remote so what your saying is i need another adaptor to turn that iso into somthing that works with the iso of the car?

yep the stereo works finem, all fuses that exist are all fine and i didnt think you needed an adaptor for the clio i asumed it was a straight plug and play... it seems the same iso connector and it all goes together fine its just the wiring sems to be in the wrong order....ill have another look...

just been quoted £430.00 to do the cam belt. on my 172 is this about right? kit includes all the tensoners, timing kit, end caps, both belts. so everything...... thats inclusive of VAT. so 430 is the price i pay.... its at a french car specalist called French Car-nection, here in essex
