I have driving the low boost turbo and that is very fast and has a very smooth power delivery.
There have been some question about the price £5k for low boost + donor car or £7k for high boost + donor car and these are only basics builds. You could add on another £1K-£2K for nice bits like...
I have arranged a new discount for the club for the following items..

Thanks to DingDong AKA Chris for the initial contact.
Yerr also the supercharger runs off the crank thus sapping power from the engine, Turbo runs off exhaust gases not sapping power.
Personally I would have a turbo even with the lag cause they kick arse others prefer the S/C, each to their own.
And the damaging the engine can be achieved...
Simple answer, to increase power using a turbo all you do is increase the pressure the actuator valve opens at, which is about a 2 minute job.
To increase power using a Supercharger you have to change the gear of the supercharger about an 1 hour job maybe.
Now the BB tuning turbo starts to...
Supercharge and Turbo is what the old Renault Maxi Clio had, supercharge to get over the lag and then the turbo cuts in.

Ho hum...
BB tuning sold there Black 255 bhp Turbo a while back for £15,000 or so the story goes that was running around 16psi boost I think.
They have a low pressure turbo at the moment running about 9psi boost on standard valver internals that is running about 195-200 bhp match to a standard valver...
We (Me and Night.Icon) know someone who is dropping that engine into a williams along with the 6 speed box and as he has very strong links with renault he knows it will drop straight in with no messing with engine mounts.
I owned a 172 for about a year and only sold it cause I was only using it 1 or 2 days a month. I had only 1 thing go wrong and that was the back wheel scrubbed on the inner mudguard due to a loose nut on the inner guard. They replaced the guard and fitted back on and thats it. No more problems.
Nah you will send off your details and they are entered into the database which generates a unique number. You will then have to upgrade your forum status online with that unique membership number. Post count stays as is mate.
