Buick V8 was aliminium block but Rover built them with Iron ? - original weighed aroung 150kg which isnt to bad.
Regardless of the exterior i think you deserve a pat on the back for fabrication work and engineering thats gone into the engine conversion.
Most people on here wouldnt know how to change a driveshaft never mind drop a vauxhall 2.0 16 valve engine into a fiat.

The speedo sensor is fitted to the gearbox. Your car may not have one if the speedo reading is that which is fed of the ABS system ( rear ABS sensor detects the revolutions of the hub which sends a signal to ECU and then to the inst panel ) so your back to square one...
I had this on a 172 the other week - Rev counter was intermittently going wild and would then stop and start at any time.
Turned out to be wiring connector going to the speedo sensor in the gearbox. Changed the connector and the speedo sensor - problem sorted.

Most common faults in order .....
1 - key has lost its code
2 - contact switch on key circuit board has come loose and needs soldering
3 - ignition barrell transponder need replacing
4 - key is completey dud and needs replacing
5 - UCH...
This problem is usually the digital control panel for the climate control ( will need replacing ) or if the car isnt fitted with AC it will be a control cable for warm air / cold air flap that has come loose.
The fault your talking about is the seatbelt pre-tensioner wiring loom. These have a tendancy to become loose ( constant reclining / moving backwards and forwards of the seat to allow passengers in the rear of the car ) you should really check all connections and re-solder any loose wires...
The knock sensor has changed part number many a time over the years. Heres all of them - there all the same part.

Something not right about this as the WS6 Ram air uses an LS1 not an LS7.
The LS7 is also a 6.0 505 BHP lump and the LS1 a 5.7 rated at 325 bhp. To get an LS7 to 620 bhp ( stated in vid ) would take something drastic like a supercharger and i cant see one on that Trans am. Unless its had a...
