nice cars them gti6's. That one looks A1! You need to get the bucket and an old toothbrush out though and clean the plastic heel protector underneath the pedals! lets the otherwise mint interior down!!
I Love the japanese style front bumper..... he must have got that clio as a direct import from japan, you know, from the company that exports racing skylines and 200sx's etc!
The warranty is 3yrs 60000 mls from new, regardless of ownership. all provided the correct service intervals are maintained. You can take the car to any renault dealer in the uk.
there are ltd stocks left, but recaro option is NOT available WITH cd changer, due to lack of space under the seats.
we're selling 05 delivery mile 182 cups (some with recaros) for 11499.
so glad this thread came up! was thinking about changing my 172 for a itr. (after a recent track day saw me getting smoked by two bastids in ITR's) but after reading the stories, i don't think i'll bother. whats the point in driving everywhere with at 6000 rpm just to keep up with traffic?!
Hello gary! What sort of gain am i gonna get from a chip and a decat(along with the other bits) mate? and can i not go chip 1st then decat? as my mot is up end of next month, so was planning a decat after that;)
so if i'm keeping the mods ltd to what i've stated above, this could be ok?
if i'm not gaining bhp, what am i gaining?! Apart from a smaller bank balance?!
I have some money to play with, and a yearn for more power.
My car is a mk1 172, lowered, with stainless exhaust and induction, and now, after minimal research, i think i've settled for the bb performance tuning renaultsport grpN chip.
What i'm asking is, has anyone had any experience of this...
someones treating that guy like a mushroom; kept in the dark and fed on bullsh!t, I raced against an ignis at castle combe. oh what a load of w4nk! there is no way on gods green earth an ignis would keep up with a 172.
^^^ all renaults are built to order now, thats why it takes so long to order one.
I have a new 1.4 dynamique 's' as my company car (salesman for renault) and its ok...........ish.
The seats have no support whatsoever, its like sitting on a park bench. Build quality is outstanding compared to...
not really, for the sake of a couple of hundred notes, i'd rather buy off a private, where the cars aren't messed about with, and you can see where its been kept and whose been driving it.
i work in the motor trade mate, and i wouldn't even consider it!
the only reason a 52/53 plate clio 1.2 dynamique is going to be at an auction is because there is something wrong with it! there'll be plenty of expressions and poverty authentiques, but dynamiques are sought after, so dealers...
mine went on my 2001 x reg at 16000 miles when it was 2 years old. had brand new engine under warranty, and got the warranty extended for another three years!
Good job as well, as with labour, parts and courtesy car, renault were billed 3800 quid.
get someone to pull them right out, then use fairy liquid and a pressure washer.
(like the ones you get at the petrol station)
did mine and they ended up mint!
(were damp for about a week though!!)
