Tbh i dont think i can hear it when i boot it, really just while slow manouvering. With my experience of other cars it almost sounds like a loud power steering or AC pump but i dont have AC and it does it even while not steering. Maybe its just me, at the moment the cup is completely standard...

Mine sounds better for sure, induction noise doubles and nothing sounds any different to driving below 5k, ie no shakes, rattles odd noises etc.

Can feel a little something in mine, makes a bit more noise and revs more freely after 5k. Definatley not something you can even slightly compare to the 'kick' you get from a modded/agressively mapped turbo motor.

Nice going! The INPHASE XTC 200W COMPS look ok if your going for 13cm but they do look a little deep for the Clio door cards.... Rings could be made up but i'm not sure you'll be able to get the standard grill back on with packing rings in place??

Just for reference, most £40 - £50 13cm speakers wont sound much better than the standard paper ones. IMO its worth making an MDF adapter ring to fit 17cm.

I'd be up for some 17cm components.

Re: someph-ing different........... I wrestled mine off with a pair of pipe grips, took about 30mins of tugging but it popped off in the end.

Thanks dude, will have a look at making up some adapter rings then. I 'may' fit a 10" sub in small box in the future just to help out but not sure yet.

Yeah took the motor out too, never ever feel the need to use the rear wiper myself and the car gets washed every couple of days at least so the rear window is never dirty either.

Need a set of components for my Cup, not going over the top with audio in this car as its had alot of thought put into weight reduction already i'd just feel plain guilty tbh. That said i HAVE to have a good sound. Anybody have any good/bad things to say about any of these on this page...
