I am really sorry about your car. Did you have those slidy Contisports on your wheels by any chance??
Rob
I have corrected your spellings etc for you, as you suggested above!!
"I am generally unsatisfied with the standard of service at Whitehouse Renault Bexleyheath. Staff knowledge about the cars is poor, in fact for every enquiry I make, I seem to know more than they do! Behaviour has so...
Well that didnt look like it does now when I copied and pasted it!!
What a mess! Sorry, perhaps someone can delete it.
E-mail Demon Tweeks for side repeaters and mention Cliosport or Sylvia! johnh@demon-tweeks.co.uk
Whats three seconds? Presumably you will be driving it on the roads not race track!! Also if you are thinking of a CTR, then that is better suited on a race track, it is so high revving and very big and ugly compared to the cute 172.
I have no complaints with my 172 and there is nothing else...
Cup172
You mentioned that your brother is waiting for a Golf. Did you see Watchdog last night? Much of it concerned VW / Audi Group dodgy (ignition, I think) coils breaking up and most of the modern cars apparently have four of them one guy had bought six new big Audis for his company and...
Mine is going for its first service on Saturday - 3,300 miles or thereabouts so far. Lucky for me I only have to pay £8 for an oil filter + cost of oil. The service, plus brake checks etc will be very thoroughly carried out too - its not what you know but who you know!!
:D

Presumably your valve caps are metal. If so, maybe you can heat them with a hairdryer so that they will expand slightly, then grab them quickly, when they arent expecting it!
Send an e-mail to the Watchdog trouble shooter at Auto Express, explain everything to him and he will sort it in minutes for you! Do it now so that no time is wasted, it doesnt cost you anything.

This is probably why they need your V6 for two days - they will take half of one day changing the colour and kitting it out like this!

They probably need it for two days so that the mechanic can get a track day in at the same time on his day off!! :o
If I were you I would write down the mileage with a thick black marker on an A4 sheet of fluorescent card and put in on the dashboard!
:D
Steve, Ill let you into a secret! Your girlfriend has had some special driving shoes made with 4" blocks at the bottom, for when she floors your Pulsar!!
;)
Well, as I said above, I know a 306 Rallye which is quick - it is black as well!!
Remember that not all drivers want to race - especially when they know they can beat you if they really want to!
;)
Well I wouldnt like to do 150mph on our roads - there are far too many potholes!! It is bad enough hitting one at 50mph far less 150!!
I often wonder if there isnt a bit of exaggeration with this speed thing with you lads! 150 is really best kept for the track.
Last year whilst down in...

Well you should see what people VERY much older than that drive, where I live! TVRs / Civic Type R / BMW M3 / Z3 /Cabrios / XK8 / DB7s / Mercs / Williams / Maserati / Integra Type R. Plenty of real oldies round here have fast expensive cars, also, they have more surplus money to waste on...
