I've a cup s and the gearbox is definitely the worst part of the car. You can hear every movement when changing gears but as you say it's apparently just the way it is. Great cars mind

The facelift Meg 3 275 has 2 options. Cup s and Nav. The cup s is the more hardcore of the 2. It comes with LSD and cup chassis as standard. You can option more performance related options to the cup s. To be honest though there's really not much in it at all
No worries mate. You should have asked on here first! Cup s comes with 18s, LSD, cup chassis as standard. All you would have had to add was recaros. Also the cup s is cheaper on insurance would you believe!
You'll love it though. Great cars. Just don't expect much more than 30mpg ever lol
They don't do much with a remap anyway. I doubt it's that. They can feel down on power if you're used to a turbo. Hammer the arse off it and you'll see how they're meant to be used
I bloody love this model. Never really been a fan of audis but the most recent rs3 is a proper win for me. Love how you use it as a proper commuter aswell
You can't go wrong with the Hammerite paint. I did a set of calipers using it. Filed/sanded/degreased then away you go. 3 coats and 24 hours later and they were spot on
Yes all axles that drive wheels require a diff. If say it's FWD then both read wheels are independent of one another therefore don't require a diff. Without a diff driving the wheels you couldn't go round bends without the inside wheel skidding. LSD is different again and allows them to be...
That's true mate..I suppose I've never been one to overprice cars I've sold. I know they demand more than a 172 but not to the point it's an extra £1000+
