Unfortunately not for the reasons given here
Although there was discussion about including our innovative Xbox Live features in the demo, we wanted this playtest to focus on core gameplay elements -- like how it feels to drive our wide selection of cars at 60fps, the visuals on a new tracks...
The demo will not feature multiplayer features over Xbox Live, although split-screen multiplayer was neither confirmed nor denied. The track being featured in the demo is Mugello Short.

Hopefully we'll see the first change on Friday when Sony usually update the store :) I wish we knew what they were changing. It's possibly the platform for running Home when the public beta begins.
The update started at 5pm today and ended before 8pm. PSN store access returned around about that time. Perhaps they are now doing more updates if the store is once more offline?
It's a wifi keyboard with trackpad I bought from ebuyer for £24 delivered. It's useable via YDL or the PS3 browser. There is noticeable lag from the keyboard when using the PS3 browser alone which can sometimes miss out letters. I mainly bought it for use with Linux and VLC so that I can browse...
Hopefully we'll see some changes over the next couple of weeks.
I'm testing my new wifi keyboard with the PS3, posting this using it via the PS3 browser.
The wording of the original announcement describes the update today as in preparation for new content so it'll probably be non visible changes for now. Hopefully not though.
The graphics in GT HD are acceptable, no worse than anything on the 360. That may change with the release of Forza 2.
Motorstorm and F1 are good racing games and fun online although they will be more enjoyable when Sony improve the online system and messaging system.
I own both and hardly ever play my 360 these days. Having said that I'm not really someone who spends alot of time each week gaming. The 360 has a large list of games currently available, the PS3 has a lot less and it will remain that way for a long time. My head says buy the 360, my heart says...
I've spent the past 45 minutes online playing this and it was a great laugh. The trucks are fun.
Tomorrow I'll play the offline mode and learn the tracks.
8gb will give me many hours worth of music, if I was to copy the albums I actually listen to off of my 40gb iRiver then they'd probably not amount to more than 2gb. I think I have around 20gb stored on it.
Which Alpine HU do you own?
I'm using it with my iMac so all my music files are already ordered in the way that Apple chooses which will make transfer relatively simple :) My only fear is that the volume of the EU model is lacking, can any owners clarify this? I'll need to buy a case and armband.
I want the Apple version because I'd rather buy a headunit which fully supports the iPod rather than my old setup with my iRiver. Fingers crossed I find one that works well.
The Nano has been ordered now, I doubt I'd ever use the video mode of the 30gb unit and the Nano will be better for in...
