And how exactly have a missed the point? Was it not you who debated that the camera was great on iPhones and that the 3GS was a two year old phone so it should only be compared with phones of that era?
My old HTC Diamond 2 had 292dpi compared with the existing iPhone at that time (3G) which...
Lol @ Revels & Gally Jumping on The Raiderman's back for saying the iPhone cameras are s**t.
Sorry to burst your bubble boys but iPhones have have a habit of introducing technology a least a year after other phones have. My iPhone 3GS for example has a 3mp camera with NO flash, and was...
Couldn't agree more sir. When I bought the 3GS there was nothing to rival it in the market, it was easily the best phone out there. Now there are several phones that rival and out-perform the 4.
Unless the iPhone 5 has a much bigger screen and an 8mp camera with 1080p video then I very much...
That's how ebay works, you put a maximum bid in, and every time someone bids over your current bid, ebay automatically bids for you to outbid them, until you reach your maximum bid then it will stop bidding for you....
Half Life and then Half Life 2 are the best I have ever owned, and the mods that came from it.
I used to host LANS every couple of months when I lived with my parents and they were awesome. 10 of us in one room with PCs playing the following:
Counter Strike (1 and source)
TFC & TF2
Day of...
It all depends on how far you sit from the screen, if you sit 2ft away from a 50" 1080P screen it will look pixelated, if you sit 10ft away it will look great! Same in the cinema, yes it's a 25ft screen but you're sat 40ft away :D
Never heard of Redray?
My living room is ever being upgraded to improve my viewing experience, but it's far from a home cinema imo. Someone with just a 50" TV (no offence) doesn't have a home cinema!
What are you looking for info and tips on? I might be able to help in some way.
Have you tried a different HDMI port? How have you changed the resolution if you can't see anything? (I'm not being pedantic, just would help to know).
They can induce commas?!?!?! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Meh, still don't think you can compare them with an Onkyo system which has:
2 x Optical
1 x Coaxial
4 x HDMI (3 in, 1 out)
3 x Component (2 in, 1 out)
5 x Composite (4 in, 1 out)
HD Audio...
I can recommend Simon Revill, he is based in Sheffield but will travel most places. He did our last year and being "in to my photography" I booked him 2.5 years in advance after about 3 months of looking!
He costs about £2000 but does an amazing job and produces simply beautiful photos.
Simon...
This man speaks sense. The versatility of an Onkyo AVR will be exactly the same as a Denon one.
Just don't buy that Onkyo HTX-22HDX because although it will sound pretty good it will have no versatility at all.
I definitely would not get this over a 508 + speakers. The 6305 is a decent solution and does pretty much what the 508 + speakers you picked would do, and is fully upgradable so I would go with that!
Doesn't the 4 have 275dpi, not 300?
The new iPhone definitely needs a bigger screen, after using my Mrs' Galaxy S and my mates HD7 which both have much bigger screens at around 200dpi and they are very clear. Going back to mine having used those, feels like the screen size is the same as a...
I'm shocked that the ATi 5750 is the highest graphics card you can get. Regardless of whether Apple think their users want to play games, surely they should offer something WAY more substantial for those who want to pay it. My 3 year old quad core with 8800GT will out perform it!
I just bought this for £230:
Onkyo HT-S3305
Which is absolutely fantastic for the money. You essentially get the Onkyo TX-SR308 AV Receiver (Onkyo AVR) which is usually £200, and the Onkyo SKS-HT528 speakers which are usually about £150. The only difference being that the subwoofer is passive...
