Tbh mate that is rather a load of crap. I have personally printed upto 18x12 (I think it was that) at ISO400 and it came out completely crisp, and tbh I know I could have easily gone to ISO800 on my 400D and with Noise Ninja I could have also printed at that size no problem.
How the hell can...
I agree that SLi is really just for the big boys. As for IDE, yes it is pretty slow and such but like I said for storage a few milliseconds of accessing time doesn't really matter, nor does transfer time too much. And also IDE cables dont have to be big and restricting, I have round cables which...
Why is it s**t? Just because a single card is less fussy it doesn'tmean its "s**t" to be fair.
If he wants just bog standard storage then there's no reason why IDE isn't prefectly good enough for the job.
There are a few theories for this, I have no idea which are true though! However I do know that the Accelerometer is for the camera's orientation.
1. They fitted the accelerometer last thing and didn't have time to market it because they didnt want to delay the release.
2. The didn't market it...
Laingo the latest firmware is v12. If you dont have that and it says u have the latest its because you need to change your phone product code using Nokia NSS then update.
I'd hazard a guess that on the same position the data doesn't actually move at all when moved, just the path to it is redirected for the OS. In different partitions the data is physically copied over to the other partition and deleted from the original.
That is a GUESS. :D
ROFL what a load of s**t. You heard that from T-Mobile employees because the T-Mobile firmware completely f***s their N95s up. Normal Nokia N95s with proper Nokia firmware are s**t hot tbh. And as someone said, the firmware update has A-GPS meaning the GPS is much stronger and locks on instantly...
Well I figured this:
CPU - Might come down in price be £10-15 which im not fussed about
RAM - Got it cheap on a special offer for £50 so I won't be losing anything on that
Motherboard - that was £60 so I can't see it coming down more than £10
GFX - All 8800GT cards are out of stock everywhere...
Well Nvidia have just brought out the GT chip which superseeds the GTS chip and is more powerful (yet the cards are slightly cheaper) and they are conastantly out of stock everywhere and you have to pre-order them, so I can't see them going out of date that quickly! :D
Luckily I have decent...
That lot cost me basically £420 + VAT.
I last upgraded in July 2003, so it's well overdue I must admit! Can't wait though, I forgot how good it feels to upgrade :D
Wahoo! I'm well excited! Just ordered the following:
Intel Core Duo Quad Q6600 8MB L2 Cache CPU
2GB PC8500 DDR2 RAM
Gigabyte P35 Motherboard
Hitachi 160GB SATA II 8MB Cache HDD
XFX 8800GT 512MB Graphics Card
But the only downside is I won't be able to use them until 25th dec because they are...
There are a few of things I envy on the iphone regarding my N95.
One is the internet is quicker, I'm assuming that's down to RAM and how quickly the page is processed.
Another if the funky scrolling and zooming, but that's just a gimmick I'd get bored with tbh.
And lastly the fact that...
5gb of ram? I assume thats 2 x 2gb sticks and 1 x 1gb stick right? If so, take the 1gb out because it won't really help your system at all tbh. You want all your sticks to be the same capacity otherwise the nerd is right and it will probably bottleneck. Either take the 1gb out or swap it for...
Good point. Well he was a mechanic for a renault dealer and he did it himself so I thought everything would be above board? Just spoke to my local garage who is very good and he's basically just said what you said, could be sparks, filters clogged, crappy oil all choking it to death.
The oil I...
When you say engine flush what do you mean? I thought you all meant run some bog standard crappy oil in it for a week to get the crap out then put good stuff in?
Hi,
the reason I ask this question is because if some of you remember my girlfriends 172 performs poorly for what it should. I estimate its around 20bhp down. Now, it was serviced just before she bought it, and now 12k miles later it needs another service obviously.
Now I was hoping it was so...
Shame my girlfriends 172 is performing like a dog. I reckon thats underpowered by about 20bhp. f**king stupid thing, how can that possibly happen to a car thats only 4 years old?
