Exactly mate. At any night or indoor football/baseball/rugby/netball/whatever sport game you always see a sea of white lenses because canon are so good in low light and the lenses produce such great photos. Lets face it, with the climate of the UK I'm always using high ISO for shooting and the...
If you are into gaming, then check out what pings are like on AOL, because some companies use gay packet chaping methods which result in good download speeds and s**t pings (e.g. tiscali).
If you aren't into gaming, I would have a look see what average speeds of DL are and whether they have...

Get the canon. 6mp or 10mp hmmmmmmm not a hard choice on that alone! The D40 is a decent camera but the 400D is better, its as plain as day. The D40X however is very similar to the 400d and its just preference of lenses which makes the choice for me, and also Canon's are better for high...
I have a dual core laptop and everything i go on uses both cores so thats just untrue. If you do anything like copying DVDs, photoshop, illustrator, lightroom, or other cpu intensive application its a simple fact the quad core will out perform the dual everytime. And games ARE going toward quad...
That's expensive! But I guess its the full lot and you're not building it. I personally would go for the Q6600 for a few reasons:
Firstly, don't listen to the people who say "the dual core is quicker and you don't need 4 cores", the fact of the matter is, everything is shifting and slowly...
I expect that the mother board will have a PCI-E slot but it will just not be in use. But I can't be absolutely sure since it doesn't tell you the make/model of the board.
64 bit means it is slightly different like hs been said above, and it also means it can utilise much more ram.
32bit OS's can only take upto 2gb (or 3 if the OS is modified), 64 bit OS's can utilise upto 128GB iirc.
Plus its a dual core processor so its essentialy light years ahead of what you have.
Basically if you don't play games, thats absolutely fine. If you want to play games the system is fine excpet for the graphics card!
Yup, when it goes the repair centre they check for any signs of rust on the circuitry or any signs of other water damage. Basically if u dont have insurance ur knackered!
Hehe well thanks for the advice anyway! Well I'm gonna take it to my mates as he has a 172 and i know for a fact he has the correct sparks, so I'm gonna swap them over and see if a difference is made.
If not then :o
Right - Just to clear things up - I'm 99.99999999999999999% sure its a true 172 engine for the following reasons:
The car has every characteristic of a 172 such as: Xenons, interior, climate control, it revs to 6700ish when cold and 7200ish when warm, the brakes are massive, the ride height is...
Yes, they have put the latest version of their software on it. Not Nokias. When you buy a phone it comes with Network specific software, which with Orange, Tmobile, Three and Vodaphone it is more often than not buggy as f**k. O2 are normally the only decent ones because all they do is change the...
As some of you may remember I was complaining because my GF's 172 felt quite underpowered. Well I had it fully serviced at a nearby reputable garage last week, with new sparks (which on the invoice cost £12.75 for 4, is that right?), filters and such, and 10w30 Torco SR1 Fully synth oil.
I was...
Don't be stupid lol.
The N82 specs look good but from what I have seen in the pics it looks horrid. I'm yet to see it in real life but for now I would much rather have the 8GB N95 - bigger screen; slides so its much shorter; looks nicer; same spec.
Right let me just clear a few things up.
The latest firmware is Version 12.0.0.013. Not v13 like some people have confused it with.
To update your phone you need to go here http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163 , download the program and run to update.
If it says you have the latest firmware, you...
Good effort man! the only thing I would say is that the light from the camera side needs diffusing more because its reflecting from the bottom of the phone but other than that its spot on!
I know how u feel mate. Wish I could afford more glass! I have canon kit lens and sigma 55-200mm 4-5.6 at the mo which arent the best in crap weather :(.
I want the 28-75 2.8 tamron next, at £230 its a bargain!
Just so you know a "wide" lens is different to a lens that has wide aperture :D
Some of the best compacts nowadays are either Lumix or Canon Ixus, but any decent make will produce good snaps like Sony or Samsung or fujifilm
Eskiisbest - Thats photography mate. Digital Photography = Recording of light to a sensor. To record the right amount of light the shutter has to open then shut in a certain space of time. If its in the day time the shutter will open and shut within something like 1/600s, but at night if it was...
I never said shooting at higher ISO doesn't reduce quality because it does. For a photographer who doesn't concentrate on one type of photography, more often than not they will need to go above ISO200, in the UK of course.
