I had a look at that French Trophy series as well.
Looks like, being the first year, it's a free for all, and then they will sort it out more for next year. Entry fees are £300 with 1 quali and 2 races, on the same day.
I asked him about gearboxes, but I think he doesn't want to put anybody off...

Get the doors and boot open, ask yourself, would you buy it??
Pictures were rare in those days, not like now where you can have them online 5mins after taking them.
Most the time we just didn't bother, as it was too much hassle getting them from the photographer.
We are trying to compare night and day here surely.
I've no problem with turbo's on a raod car.
But I am old school, and n/a is for me in a comp car, power delivery etc etc.
You would need to run a thermostatic sandwich plate, to let the oil warm up before it goes through the cooler. Unles you are running really hot engine, I cannot see the need to run one, as said, we do 40min races, and don't feel the need to run one.
Takes up space and adds to unreliability...
