The new one looks even worse than the first Vectra! The back is awful and I have always hated the silver -V- bit on the Vauxhall grille. We had a couple of V6 Calibras until they started putting that -V- thing on. Yuk!

I think the newer mk2 Clios are tougher than the older ones, as I know someone who overturned one down a slight embankment and you would hardly have known it had been on its roof! Does it have some sort of strengthener in the roof? Perhaps the height is a safety thing?!? It stayed more or...
Have you heard from him yet? It might not be until Monday now, as he doesnt work weekends but he will try to help you as much as he can because he said there is quite a bit of stuuf to mod the 172 with.

Geoff, I think you will find that it is only the dealers who say that the warranty is affected if non-dealers do any work on your car. This is completely untrue, providing that parts used are Renault or whatever the make of car is. I have mentioned this before, that a good friend of ours owns...

Good Luck Keith if you have to use a baby seat! You will have loads of room in the Honda as my neighbour has a CTR and it is cavernous inside! Still prefer the cosiness of the 172 but I can appreciate that you might want more space.

Telford Mike, obviously the leather seats and other goodies have been removed from the Clio Cup to lighten the weight and because they are quite a bit cheaper. But then I expect you know that!
